What happens when the Moodclub residents dig deep into their records boxes and serve you with the best of smooth soul, raw funk and basement jackin’ disco? A Soulclub night, that's what. Deeply rooted in the ghostly past that all modern dance music is indebted to, Soulclub residents Stan Lee Cheez, Phat Gratts Makin' Dollaz, Mo' Stash and Phil Goode shake your booties with a dose of feelgood, uptempo dance music directly aimed towards your hips, your thighs and your minds. Add some sleazy disco, house classics and quality hiphop beats to the fun and we're only even halfway there. Because anything goes, as whatever takes the residents' fancy that week will get dropped on the ones and twos.

Not that they're alone in their quest to make you dance. Each time, they're backed up with a wonderful guest, be it a local deejay or someone from abroad. It was Strictly Niceness' heavyweight duo Bernard Dobbeleer and DJ Kwak who kickstarted the Soulclub decks, igniting the place with their selection of grooves that were easily hotter than hell's kitchen on curry day. Fast forward to the second night, when local hero Raoul Lambert shared his personal definition of disco and boogie with us and proved us he's still the don of all things that got the funk. Furthermore, Moodclub and Soulclub continue their clubSTUK monthly at one of Leuven's nicest and most spacious venues.
